Manufacturing Growth Programme
Manufacturing businesses are being offered support and funding to grow and become more competitive through a sector-specific programme.
The Manufacturing Growth Programme, provides support to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) across the sector.
The programme works with external coaches and consultants to implement an improvement project.
As part of the scheme, an independent business review will be carried out to identify opportunities for business improvement and growth. Based on these findings, a detailed action plan will guide manufacturers through the process of improving the business.
SMEs can also access grant funding towards the cost of implementing a new project.
The Manufacturing Growth Programme has already supported more than 3,500 SME manufacturers and created over 4,700 new jobs across England, enabling businesses to make improvements by identifying, understanding and removing their barriers to growth.
